PCC team at the Museum of Architecture

On February, 5 we visited an exhibition Concrete captivated. Civil Engineer August Komendant at Estonian Museum of Architecture. Curator Carl-Dag Lige gave us deep insight of the exhibition. Our lead structural engineer Tom Arula (chartered civil engineer, level 8) comments: I left the exhibition with an impact that solutions designed by August Komendant are truly enchant. The buildings and projects seem so charmingly simple and clear. As an engineer, you look at these and you understand what is bearing what. Still Habitat ’67, a “stacked apartment building”, was mysterious creation in the sense of engineering. It requires the greatest genius to do these masterpieces. This exhibition really inspires being a civil engineer.
